Intelligence for the way
projects actually work.

Procore tells you Procore is fine. QuickBooks tells you QuickBooks is fine. They’re both right inside their silos. The margin erosion, unbilled change orders, missed waivers, and cash gaps happen between your systems, not inside them. Skopos Lens lives in that gap.

No GL writes. No money moves. Your team decides.
The problem your software vendors will not solve

Your stack is a set of accurate, isolated reports.

Each system is correct about its own slice. None of them know what the others know. That is where the dollars leak.

“Procore is right. QuickBooks is right. Both are right, and that is exactly why nobody can tell you why margin is down three points this quarter.”
How Skopos works

One platform that compares your systems against each other.

You stop going to look for problems. Problems come to you, with full evidence back to the source records.

01

Connect

QuickBooks Online and CSV today; Procore and future systems through the same normalized connector standard as access clears.

02

Normalize

Every source maps into the same canonical data model. One schema, many systems.

03

Verify

Rules compare systems against each other and surface exceptions with severity and source records.

04

Act

Findings route to the right role with evidence chain, audit history, and a disposition workflow.

What Skopos does today · V1 live

11 verification checks. Live. With evidence back to source.

Every finding cites the source records that triggered it. Every number traces to the connected system that produced it. No black box. No invented numbers.

R1
Overbilling detection. Flags billing that exceeds the recorded budget or contract baseline.
R2
Profit fade sentinel. Flags projected cost above original contract value while the job is still active.
R3
Change order drift. Detects change-order movement that can explain contract-value and margin drift.
R4
Budget burn trajectory. Surfaces cost burn patterns that are outrunning recorded budget progress.
R5
Vendor commitment vs AP balance. Compares committed vendor value against AP-side exposure.
R6
Pay application without receipt. Flags paid pay applications when receipt evidence is missing.
R7
Vendor missing tax ID. Compliance gap flagged before the first 1099 cycle.
R8
WIP over-billing variance. Detects revenue ahead of cost-to-cost work performed.
R9
WIP under-billing variance. Detects work performed ahead of billing. Cash trapped in WIP.
R10
Missing lien waiver on pending payment. Lien exposure flagged before payment release.
R11
Retainage rate inconsistency. Flags pay applications whose effective retainage rate drifts from the project median.

Reconciliation

The page your finance team will open every day.

Continuous cross-system reconciliation, sorted by largest recorded variance. Source-backed dollars on one side, recorded dollars on the other, and an explicit count of rows where the source values are missing.

Skopos Lens does not fabricate source-side amounts. If a finding did not capture the original values, the row says so. The page does not pretend the data is cleaner than it is.

◎ Accuracy guardrail

Variance dollars come directly from verification_results.discrepancy_value. Source-system cells only show original values when those values are stored in sources_compared; otherwise they are explicitly marked unavailable.

Active vendor records with source status, trade coverage, risk score, and reliability signals from the Summit demo tenant. Recommendation labels (DO NOT USE, WATCH) are stored on vendor profiles and remain advisory. Your team decides.

The point isn’t a vendor scorecard. The point is the scorecard cites which records made it light up.

Architectural commitments

What Skopos Lens will never do.

These are not roadmap items waiting for V2 or V3. They are the architecture. They are the reason CFOs can trust the surface.

Skopos does not post to your GL. It surfaces. Your team posts.
Skopos does not approve pay applications. Findings route. Humans decide.
Skopos does not move money. No banking. No payment rails. By design.
Skopos does not modify source systems. Procore stays Procore. QuickBooks stays QuickBooks.
Skopos does not replace your team. It removes the spreadsheet duct tape from between them.
The AI does not invent numbers. If the source didn’t store a value, the row says so. No hallucinated dollars.

Skopos exposes the truth. Your team keeps control.

Roadmap · Paced around pilot validation, not internal release cycles

What shipped, and what waits.

Pilot cohorts will pace the next wave. Bring your stack; Skopos validates what it can verify in your environment before expanding the roadmap.

Shipped · V1.1 First Wave

V1.1 shipped.

  • WIP report PDF: generated from verified project financial data.
  • Reports module: findings export, aggregate WIP PDF, monthly summary PDF.
  • Retainage rate inconsistency: verification rule for pay-app retainage-rate drift.
Deferred from V1.1

Post-pilot work stays separate.

  • Post-pilot document templates: COI, lien waiver request, change order package, and W-9 request templates stay out of V1.1 until pilot evidence justifies them.
  • Email ingest: deferred to V2, not promised in V1.1.
3-6 months

PM depth, reporting, vendor compliance.

  • PM seat depth: schedule health, RFI aging, submittal turnaround, weather days, manpower, change order leakage.
  • Native reporting: customizable report builder, CFO variance register, findings register export.
  • Project depth: margin per project, ECAC vs Contract, PM attribution, schedule of values, pay-app status, retention held.
  • Vendor compliance columns: W-9, lien waiver, COI status per vendor; missing-tax-ID view.
  • Search depth: result-type filters, project scope, confidence-threshold filter, faster render.
  • Audit depth: full human-action audit (sign-in, role switch, disposition, upload, settings change).
6-12 months

Enterprise procurement & intelligence.

  • Enterprise procurement: SSO, API keys, self-serve billing, compliance configuration, GDPR / CCPA controls.
  • Additional connectors: Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint Vista / Spectrum, CMiC, Foundation, Acumatica Construction.
  • GL post-back (advisory): “Ready to post” flag for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QBO. Skopos still never writes.
  • Scheduled report delivery: board pack, monthly close pack, custom cadences.
  • 13-week cash requirement forecast: milestones, retainage, cash position, and aging payables combined into one source-cited view.
  • Weather and external risk: project addresses, schedules, cost records tied to forecast windows and historical events.
  • Chat over verified data: natural-language answers that cite source records and never invent numbers.
  • Profit Fade Sentinel: project gross profit tracked from bid to completion, refreshed daily.
  • Customer-specific rules: thresholds, project-type rules, finance tolerances, compliance standards.
Built for your stack

One model, many systems.

The connector standard normalizes every source into the same canonical shape. The promise is not that one vendor magically replaces every system you have. The promise is that verification, dashboards, documents, and intelligence run identically regardless of the stack you actually run.

The long game

Twelve months of your data builds a model of how your firm operates.

Owner payment behavior. Subcontractor reliability. Estimator accuracy. Project margin patterns. Seasonal cash pressure. The same engine that surfaces today’s exceptions accumulates a working portrait of your operation across cycles.

You connect the systems. Skopos exposes the truth.
